Key Takeaways

  • “All I’m asking is that the people in our security and intelligence establishments is to get back on the same page in considering large scale child sex trafficking beyond the pale” – Darryl Cooper
  • If the media truly believes ‘if it bleeds it leads‘, why doesn’t every newspaper have dedicated investigation teams devoted to the Jeffrey Epstein story?
    • In the episode, Cooper explores a few examples of suppression of the Epstein story:
    • Who has the power to suppress the story?
  • Epstein was known as the ‘financial bounty hunter‘ – he was the go-to-guy for hiding and laundering money
    • This built him a very strong network of affluent people
      • “Very few people need more money when they have over a billion dollars, the key is to not have it do more harm than anything else; you don’t want to lose your money” – Darryl Cooper quoting Jeffrey Epstein
      • Any investment bank in the world can put together a safe wealth retention plan for a billionaire… this is not the reason people went to Epstein.
      • “Money laundering is as essential to organized crime as it is to intelligence operations. Nothing happens without it.” – Darryl Cooper

Intro

  • Was Jeffrey Epstein a foreign intelligence agent? Darryl Cooper (@martyrmade) explores the media suppression of Epstein and his background that has led us to this question.
  • “It’s a situation that seems almost too horrible to be plausible” – Darryl Cooper
    • The evidence that Jeffrey Epstein was working with an intelligence agency is mostly circumstantial but cases can be built on circumstantial evidence if it piles high enough… It can’t all be a coincidence in Cooper’s opinion
  • Part two of the podcast will be available on Martyrmade Substack

Too Horrible To Ignore

  • After continuous examples, it’s hard to expect much from our governments these days
  • “All I’m asking is that the people in our security and intelligence establishments is to get back on the same page in considering large scale child sex trafficking beyond the pale” – Darryl Cooper
    • A federal prosecutor, Alex Acosta, was told to back off by his superiors because Epstein belongs to intelligence (Source)
    • “The CIA is not synonymous with America” – Darryl Cooper

2003 Vanity Fair Article

  • In 2003, Vicky Ward published an article through Vanity Fair titled THE TALENTED MR. EPSTEIN
    • Vicky Ward was prepared to report on allegations of sexual misconduct but the magazine refused to include them
    • She had on-the-record accusations from 3 women that did not make it into the published version of the article
    • Jeffrey Epstein showed up one day in the Vanity Fair office and aggressively threatened and harassed Vanity Fair to the point of not including the allegations in the story
    • Upon publication, Graydon Carter (editor at Vanity Fair) woke up to a live bullet delivered to his door
      • Vanity Fair claims that they didn’t include the allegations because of any threats but because Ward didn’t have the minimum sources to meet the legal threshold
    • Graydon Carter also received a dead cat’s head on the stoop of his home, to ensure no other articles were written

Why Isn’t Epstein the Lead Story?

  • If the media truly believes ‘if it bleeds it leads‘, why doesn’t every newspaper have dedicated investigation teams devoted to the Jeffrey Epstein story?
    • With guaranteed public interest, where is the reporting?
  • Amy Robach of ABC News said that the network would not publish a 2015 interview she had conducted with Virginia Giuffre, accusing Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew of sexual misconduct (Source)
    • “There will come a day where we will realize Jeffrey Epstein was the most prolific pedophile this country has ever known and I had it all three years ago” – Amy Robach
    • Who has the power to suppress the story? The Queen of England? Bill Clinton?
      • Everybody has a vested interest in keeping secrets, they know what happens to people who don’t
      • Amy believes Epstein was killed – he spent his whole life blackmailing powerful people, it all came full circle
  • Mainstream sources are finally admitting that there are certainly some interesting questions about the Epstein story
    • Rolling Stone ran an article Was Jeffrey Epstein a Spy? by Vicky Ward
    • Epstein had a strategy to con institutions called ‘playing the box‘:
      • “Even if his crime was uncovered, the victim would be unable to do anything about it either because of social embarrassment or because the money was tucked away in a place where they couldn’t get it.”

Epstein Early Career

  • Epstein taught high school math but left amidst complaints from his female students (surprise)
    • As college dropout, odd that he was able to land the math teaching job at a prestigious private school in New York
    • Ace Greenberg, Vice President of Bear Stearns’, son was a student of Epstein. This is how he was able to talk himself into a Wall Street job.
  • Epstein worked at an investment firm, Bear Stearns, where he worked for 5 years but was forced out due to a regulatory violation
    • Epstein’s job was navigating taxes, or in other words, helping rich people hide their money
    • Only accepted accounts of $1 billion or more

The Financial Bounty Hunter

  • He maintained a strong relationship with Bear Stearns even after he left due to the network of highly affluent clients
    • This is the beginning of how he got involved with people like Douglas Leese, a British arms dealer
    • He coined himself as the ‘financial bounty hunter‘ – he was the go-to-guy for hiding and laundering money
      • “Very few people need more money when they have over a billion dollars, the key is to not have it do more harm than anything else, you don’t want to lose your money” – Darryl Cooper quoting Jeffrey Epstein
      • Any investment bank in the world can put together a safe wealth retention plan for a billionaire… this is not the reason people went to Epstein.
      • “Money laundering is as essential to organized crime as it is to intelligence operations. Nothing happens without it.” – Darryl Cooper

The Maxwell Family

  • Ghislaine Maxwell – seemed to be the social manager of Epstein, set up all the meetings with societal elites
  • Robert Maxwell, Ghislaine’s father, was a hustler… escaped 2 countries, has 5 or 6 different names, joins 2 different armies – all before his 25th birthday
    • He then worked for the British government’s PR and propaganda outlet in Berlin, Germany
    • He then bought a small publisher of scientific books and had an effective monopoly on translating science and engineering books into English
      • It is reported that he was fluent in 9 languages
      • Continued to buy more and more newspapers and publications
    • Became very famous in Britain – combat veteran, businessman, linguist, a smuggler of military weapons, and experienced propagandist
      • Became very interesting to intelligence agencies…
      • He was perceived as a sovereign country, he was a freelance diplomat between power structures
        • It’s theorized that he was working for Russia but he only served two masters – himself & Israel
